You will be joining Medline India as a Specialist in Vistex/SAP ABAP Development. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, solution build, and development of Vistex/SAP ABAP and SAP PI/XI based application systems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring high performance, maintaining good code quality, and delivering resilient solutions. Collaboration with various IT teams for requirement gathering and providing top-notch technical expertise and consulting on SAP platforms will be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will engage in peer reviews of other developments and provide effort estimations across different phases of the development process. To excel in this position, you are required to have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on ABAP programming experience specifically for the Vistex application. Experience in at least 2 implementation projects and 1 support project is essential. You should possess excellent knowledge of various RICEFW developments, including enhancements to standard SAP processes, as well as experience in interfaces development using File, RFC, IDOC, BAPI, Web services, Proxy-based interfaces, and database connections. Familiarity with SAP modules like SD, FICO, and the ability to articulate object-oriented design patterns in ABAP are also necessary skills. Attention to detail, communication skills, and interpersonal abilities are crucial for this role. In addition to the required skills, experience or knowledge of developments on SAP HANA/S/4HANA platforms and Middleware like SAP PI/PO (SAP XI) is desired. Experience in Vistex Billback, Customer Rebates, and Chargeback module implementation at a large distributor/manufacturer, particularly in the Pharma/Healthcare distribution sector, is preferred. As a Specialist in Vistex/SAP ABAP Development, your responsibilities will include working closely with configuration/functional analysts on high-complexity programs to translate business system designs into application software. You will be involved in designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software in ABAP. Ensuring proper coverage of all business rules through unit tests, creating computer system designs, and adhering to development, testing, and documentation standards are also part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will collaborate with configuration analysts to align technical solutions with business requirements and provide on-call support for critical issues during non-working hours when necessary. To qualify for this role, you should hold a four-year degree with a specialization in Computer Science/Electronics with strong academic credentials. Certification in SAP Application Development or object-oriented programming languages would be an added advantage.,
