Role Overview The job description is for an EV Customer Quality Engineer (Charger) based in Bangalore, Karnataka. ? The role involves managing customer quality processes, audits, warranty performance, and compliance with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and Automotive/Non-Automotive CSR standards. Responsibility Lead customer quality management : handle complaints, warranty issues, and audits Drive 8D problem solving (5W+3Y, ICA, PCA) for every customer concern Conduct root cause analysis using Why?Why, Cause & Effect, Pareto, FTA Collaborate with cross?functional teams (CFT) to implement corrective actions Manage customer audits (system, process, site assessments) and ensure compliance Track and report quality KPIs (MOP, scorecards, warranty performance) Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and Automotive CSRs Mandatory Qualification 4 to 6 years in customer quality engineering (automotive/EV preferred) Strong command of 8D methodology, Six Sigma DMAIC, NTF analysis Hands?on experience with audit preparation, corrective action systems, and warranty management B.E. in Electrical/Electronics (or equivalent) Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable improvements
