Scope of Role- The DVA Engineer is responsible for Dimensional Variation Analysis and Tolerance stack up for ongoing and new projects. Knowledge / Experience: 7+ Years Area of Responsibility: . DVA Engineer creates and maintains analysis models representing the assembly process, tolerances, and CAD data used for the virtual assembly of a vehicle. . He will be responsible for creating reports, communicating results, issues, and recommendations to the customer. Job Requirements: . Should have experience in Body Components /Interior Trims/Exterior Trims Domains . Should have good working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis . Should have good knowledge of GD&T Standard preferred ASME . Should have knowledge of 1D, 2D stack up & 3D dimensional variation analysis . Hannd on experience on Catia V5/Teamcenter Vis Mockup . Hand on Experience in variation analysis software VisVSA, . Basic understanding of Kinematics . Basic understanding of CAD and Design for Manufacturing Knowledge of jigs & fixtures used in Body Area preferred Essential: . Must have experience in Dimensional Variation analysis domain with VISVSA . Experience in using CATIA V 5/V6, Team Centre Engineering (TCE) . Working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis . Successful history of delivery with in the automotive sector . Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements. . Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate at all levels . PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc. Qualification: BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
