You are required to be a skilled Backup and Recovery Administrator responsible for providing advanced-level support for backup and recovery operations. Your main focus will be on ensuring compliance with contractual SLA requirements while offering 24x7 coverage for real-time remediations, troubleshooting, and proactive support to maintain optimal system performance. It is essential that you possess expertise in backup product management, networking, and system administration, with particular proficiency in tools like Commvault. Your responsibilities will include managing networking components, troubleshooting networking issues, and ensuring their smooth operation. You are expected to have advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems to effectively handle system-related tasks. Hands-on experience with backup and recovery software, specifically Commvault, is crucial for this role. Additionally, you should be proficient in SQL backups and have beginner to proficient knowledge in Oracle backups. A basic to proficient understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly cloud fundamentals, is required. Expertise in backups for VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV, along with a strong understanding of hardware and compute systems, is also necessary to excel in this position.
