As an Integration lead Engineer you will join the integration team to ensure all vehicle systems function levels are implemented as per requirements. The role also leads bring up and troubleshooting of product issues throughout the lifecycle; leads associated test verification and validation activities at the component and board levels, including the development of testing equipment and execution of test cases. Ability to read/understand ECU schematic, identify HW-SW integration issues Work with system experts to understand system requirements and features to ensure coverage of testing meets expectations. Reporting of issues and status of testing against customer milestones and gateways. Work with process partner teams to gather, develop and document system integration test results. Strong understanding of electronic ECU's used in EV battery electric vehicle and vehicle subsystems Discuss knowledge gaps and system requirements with system experts to enable thorough test coverage. Support setup, vehicle commissioning and refinement of test system(s). Ensure all DVP vehicle activities are completed successfully for a certain domain. This role would be an ideal next step for a candidate on an engineering career path who has already gained experience in an electronic systems technical role. Familiarity with typical software and test development processes. Familiarity with requirements capture and requirement toolsets to generate test cases to validate requirements. Knowledge of automotive networks such as CAN, FlexRay, LIN, A2B, MOST etc. Excellent analytical skills and RCA., Root Cause Analysis, virtual analysis tools Should have good knowledge and trained in ISO 26262. Experience using diagnostic tools and CAN loggers. Capable to complete vehicle test reports and communicate issues to component and function owner. Experience in any of the main vehicle domains such as Prior experience in automotive system development and\or validation would be beneficial. Experience of HiL test configuration and automation tools such as Control Desk, Automation Desk, vTESTstudio, LabVIEW or TestStand would be beneficial. Strong interest in automotive control system development including diagnostic and functional safety aspects. Good collaboration skills with globally diverse team members. Good technical skills related to Engine performance and Engine Electronic systems. Problem solving, analysis and decision making - able to quickly evaluate the pros and cons in order to reach the most appropriate technical solution. Innovation - take a creative approach to forming new product features . Capable of successfully delivering multiple projects and multiple project streams. Focus on Quality - uses quality processes to develop robust solutions and minimise defects. Initiating Action - Identifies issues at an early point and take prompt action to resolve problems.
