Chief Operating Officer – Vijayi Bharat Sports Academy The Vijayi Bharat Sports Academy , established in 2023 under the Vijayi Bharat Foundation, is dedicated to shaping India's sporting future. Located on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the Academy combines state-of-the-art infrastructure with a mission to empower India as a global leader in Olympic and Paralympic sports. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead daily operations and drive the Academy's strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the COO will oversee critical functions, including finance, marketing, human resources, and high-performance sports operations, while ensuring the holistic development of athletes and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all daily operations and administrative staff. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and budgets to optimize efficiency. Maintain strong relationships with government bodies, training centers, and sports organizations. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic planning and achieve organizational goals. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Lead upcoming projects and ensure optimal use of training facilities. Ideal Candidate: Master’s degree in Business or Sports Management from a reputed institution. 15+ years of leadership experience, with 3+ years in a COO or similar C-level role, preferably in sports organizations. Proven expertise in managing diverse functional areas, strategic planning, and operational excellence. Strong financial acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead high-performing teams.
