Skills & Competencies: Mobility Assistance: · Proficiency in safely assisting clients with mobility, including using wheelchairs, walkers, or other aids. · Knowledge of proper lifting and transfer techniques. Compassion and Empathy: · The ability to genuinely care for and understand the emotional and physical needs of clients. · Empathy for the challenges and feelings of those with mobility issues Safety Awareness: · Vigilance in ensuring the safety and well-being of clients during all interactions. · Knowledge of emergency response procedures. Patience: · Patience in dealing with potential frustrations and challenging behaviors. Qualifications: · Certification in GDA (General Duty Assistant), Geriatric Care, DMLT, GNM, ANM, or a related healthcare field. · Previous experience in handling patients' wheelchairs, such as ambulance assistants or ward boys, is a valuable asset. · Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a passion for assisting individuals with mobility requests.
