Role & responsibilities Conduct routine testing VT and CTs, including field failure analysis. Execute incoming, in-process, and final inspections per defined quality plans. Maintain and update testing records, logs, and equipment manuals. Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of all test and measuring equipment. Conduct and coordinate third-party inspections and submit reports to customers. Maintain internal and external test certifications, calibration reports, job cards, and quality documents. Prepare and present quality data in Monthly Review Meetings (MRMs) and dashboards. Manage and archive documentation including SOPs, analytical test reports, technical sheets, and audit records. Review and approve team SOPs and ensure document control compliance. Develop and implement quality control processes for raw materials, in-process and finished goods. Manage non-conformance, including issuing NCRs, root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and re-testing of rejected products. Conduct supplier quality audits and verify compliance to specifications. Maintain a testing lab aligned with regulatory and customer standards. Drive quality improvements through Kaizens, 8D, and Why-Why analysis for customer/internal rejections. Reduce cost of poor quality and non-value-added activities. Contribute to DSI improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives. Support New Product Development (NPD) with testing, tooling, and material analysis. Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly. Communicate test results, technical data, and supporting documentation to customers. Take and incorporate customer feedback into quality processes. Provide technical support to Sales, Marketing, and project teams as required. Prepare for and participate in ISO, customer, internal audits and Third Party Inspection. Ensure timely closure of audit non-conformities and maintain audit readiness. Monitor CAPA implementation and verify effectiveness. Oversee compliance with legal, regulatory, and IMS (Integrated Management System) documentation. Impart induction, on-the-job, and skill-based training to new and existing team members. Review team KRAs and actively participate in performance management. Able to handle a team of 10-15 members Foster a culture of teamwork, best practice sharing, and skill development.
