Job description Job Description: Videographer & Video Editor Experience: 2 to 5 years Location: Sion, Mumbai Company: Home & Building Magazine by CREDAI – MCHI Home & Building Magazine by CREDAI – MCHI is seeking a creative and versatile Videographer & Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in both videography and video editing, with a basic understanding of editing techniques. This role involves capturing engaging visual content, including interviews, events, and promotional materials, as well as assisting with video editing tasks. Key Responsibilities: · Lead the planning, shooting, and editing of high-quality videos and photos for various projects, including promotional content, interviews, events, and product demonstrations. · Manage and oversee all aspects of videography, including camera setup, lighting, sound, and framing to ensure the highest visual and audio standards. · Collaborate closely with the marketing, communications, and creative teams to conceptualize and execute visual content that aligns with the brand and project goals. · Take ownership of the entire video production process from pre-production to post-production, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. · Perform advanced video editing tasks such as color correction, sound editing, motion graphics, and special effects using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro. · Review and approve final cuts, ensuring that the content meets the required quality and brand standards. · Train and mentor junior videographers and video editors, providing guidance on best practices and technical skills. · Maintain and manage an organized library of footage, photos, and assets, ensuring proper storage, backup, and accessibility. · Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve content production quality and efficiency. · Ensure smooth coordination during on-location shoots, overseeing the setup and troubleshooting of all equipment and ensuring seamless operation throughout the shoot. · Handle multiple video projects simultaneously, managing deadlines, budgets, and resources effectively. · Provide creative input and solutions to enhance video production, ensuring the final product is engaging and meets client or brand expectations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Photography, Film Production, Multimedia, or related field. Proficiency in photography and videography equipment and techniques. Basic knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro. Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
