Videographer & Editor

We are a full-fledged digital marketing agency seeking a professional and creative individual to join our team for video production and editing requirements. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for handling audio, video, and lighting, and driving video projects from pre-production to post-production while maintaining brand integrity. You will collaborate with Marketing and stakeholders to conceptualize video ideas and execute them through shooting, editing, and post-production processes. Additionally, you will be tasked with selecting and implementing special visual effects, music, and audio for each video shoot, as well as converting videos into various formats for different marketing channels. Your role will involve organizing shot footage for post-production archives, creating quality multimedia storytelling using photography, videography, and text to engage our audience effectively. You will work closely with the Creative Director to evaluate the success of video content and develop plans to enhance audience satisfaction. Candidates with Bachelor's or Associate Degrees in relevant fields such as Education, Communications, Video Production, Film, Journalism, Editing, Video, Photography, Cinematography, or Television are preferred for this position. The desired skills for this role include proficiency in lighting, post-production, Microsoft Office, iNEWS, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite, audio editing, camera operation, and familiarity with the Waterloo Region and Southwestern Ontario area. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as paid sick time, paid time off, and performance bonuses. The work schedule includes day shifts and fixed shifts. Potential candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in videography and video editing. Additionally, having your own camera and Gimble is a requirement for this role.
