At GLA University, we are looking for a skilled Instructional Designer to be a part of our team and contribute significantly to the creation of eBooks, eLearning tutorials, video-based content, and storyboards. As an Instructional Designer, your primary responsibility will involve designing and developing top-notch digital learning materials that effectively communicate information and enhance learner engagement. To excel in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of instructional design principles, demonstrate creativity, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and multimedia professionals. Your key responsibilities will include designing and producing instructional materials such as eBooks, eLearning modules, video scripts, and storyboards that are in line with learning objectives and promote user engagement. You will work closely with stakeholders to evaluate training needs and learning objectives, ensuring that the content is tailored to meet the requirements of the target audience. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive storyboards for eLearning courses and video content, outlining the project's structure, flow, and visual components. Collaboration will be a crucial aspect of this role, as you will work alongside graphic designers, videographers, and other team members to incorporate multimedia elements into instructional materials. It will also be your responsibility to review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with instructional goals, thereby ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning materials. Implementing assessment strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials and making data-driven enhancements will also be part of your role. As an Instructional Designer, you will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that timelines and deadlines are met while upholding high-quality standards. Keeping abreast of trends in instructional design, eLearning technologies, and best practices will also be essential to enhance the efficacy of learning materials.
