Job Title: Video Editor

Overview:

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our creative team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creative flair, and proficiency with industry-standard editing software.

Responsibilities:

1. Editing: Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is seamless, visually appealing, and in line with the director’s vision.

2. Storyboarding: Create rough and final cuts based on the storyboard and script.

3. Collaboration: Collaborate with the creative team, producers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.

4. Sound Editing: Ensure the correct alignment and syncing of audio and video.

5. Effects: Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and special effects as needed.

6. Review and Feedback: Receive and implement feedback from clients, directors, and producers.

7. Technical Expertise: Stay updated with industry trends and editing technologies to ensure videos are produced to the highest standard.

8. File Management: Manage and organize media files and project assets.

9. Deadline Management:Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.

- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, etc.).

- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.

- Thorough knowledge of timing, pacing, and continuity.

- Creative mind and storytelling skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- BS degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with motion graphics and animation.

- Knowledge of color grading and correction.

- Understanding of codecs, formats, and delivery methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
