Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor located in Chandigarh. The Video Editor will be responsible for producing and editing high-quality video content, including video color grading, and motion graphics. The role involves collaborating with the creative team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and objectives, overseeing the entire video production process from concept to final cut, and maintaining video content quality across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with our educational objectives and brand standards.
• Add graphics, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance the overall production value.
• Ensure all videos are visually appealing, engaging, and effectively communicate the intended message.

Technical Proficiency:

• Utilize industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Maintain organized project files and manage digital assets efficiently.
• Ensure all video content meets technical specifications for various platforms and formats.

Quality Control:

• Review and revise video content based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure videos are free of errors and meet our high standards of excellence.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in video editing and educational content creation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in the ecommerce.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
