Video Editor & Motion Designer

As a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer at Walking Frames Productions, you will be responsible for managing video projects independently from inception to completion. Your primary tasks will include editing raw footage to create engaging videos for various purposes such as marketing, social media, internal communications, and branded content. In addition, you will design and animate motion graphics elements like titles, transitions, lower thirds, logo reveals, and infographics. Collaboration with content creators, marketing teams, and design departments is crucial to grasp project objectives and ensure consistency with the brand identity. You will also be in charge of incorporating music, voiceovers, and sound effects as necessary, as well as managing audio balancing and syncing. Your final outputs should be high-quality and delivered in multiple formats suitable for web, social media, and broadcast platforms. Furthermore, maintaining and organizing media assets, project files, and backups effectively is part of your responsibilities. It is essential to stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, animation trends, and software tools to enhance your skills and ensure the quality of your work. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator, is required. A strong understanding of timing, visual storytelling, animation principles, color correction, grading, and audio editing is essential. The ability to work independently under tight deadlines while upholding quality standards is crucial. Effective communication, time management skills, and a keen eye for detail are also necessary to excel in this position.
