You are a skilled and experienced video editor who will be joining our marketing team. Your primary responsibility will be to shoot and edit high-quality videos that align with our brand guidelines and objectives. You will collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative videos with appealing graphics. Utilizing professional equipment, you will shoot videos to ensure high-quality footage and capture the desired vision. Applying video effects, transitions, and graphics will enhance the overall visual appeal of the videos. Thorough quality checks will be conducted to ensure the videos meet technical specifications and are error-free. Staying updated with the latest video editing and shooting techniques, tools, and trends is essential. Managing and organizing the video library for easy access and retrieval of video assets is also part of the role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional video content is key. Experience in digital advertising, social media engagement (YouTube, Instagram & Facebook), conceptual development, and the overall creative process is desired. You should have proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or similar tools (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are value-added). Strong video shooting skills and experience in operating video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment are required. Knowledge of video production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages, is essential. Understanding graphic design principles and experience in creating motion graphics is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment are crucial. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A portfolio or reel demonstrating previous video editing and shooting work is expected. An excellent understanding of visual design disciplines (typography, composition, iconography, color, layouts) is also important.
