KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social-First Edits

• Edit for attention. Design for emotion. Cut for conversion.
• Create short-form video content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok (global), and ads.

Trend-Driven Creativity

• Stay on top of viral formats, trending audio, visual styles, transitions, and challenges.
• Work with the content and creative team to ideate, storyboard, and bring new concepts to life fast.

Platform Intelligence

• Adapt content for different formats and placements (Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, Meta Ads, Pinterest, etc.)
• Understand retention curves, hook rates, and why some videos explode while others flop.

Full-Spectrum Video Post

• Color grading, sound design, SFX, graphics, motion typography, basic VFX.
• Insert voiceovers, music, supers, cutdowns from raw footage, and assemble weekly video calendars.

Collaboration with Creative and Growth Teams

• Work closely with stylists, models, shoot producers, and performance marketers to align content with business objectives.

Must-Have Superpowers

• 2–4 years editing short-form social video (Reels, TikToks, ad creatives, YouTube Shorts).
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Strong storytelling instinct—knows how to emotionally connect with a viewer.
• Bonus: Knows how to script, shoot on phone, or direct creators/influencers remotely.
