Responsibilities: Edit videos for news articles, ensuring high-quality visuals, sound, and overall production value. Collaborate with writers and content creators to understand video requirements and align video content with written articles. Create and edit reels for social media platforms, focusing on engaging storytelling and visual appeal. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in video editing to continuously improve our video content. Manage video assets, organize files, and maintain a streamlined workflow for video production. Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm ideas and concepts for video projects. Ensure timely delivery of edited videos and reels, meeting deadlines and quality standards. Requirements: Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills and reel editing capabilities. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling. Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, and compression techniques. Knowledge of social media platforms and trends, especially in creating engaging content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
