Video Editor cum Graphic Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into compelling short films, documentaries, social media reels, and promotional videos.
• Add subtitles, transitions, graphics, animations, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate with communication, program, and field teams to understand project goals and translate them into impactful visual narratives.
• Organize and manage video assets, maintaining archives for easy retrieval.
• Assist in scripting, storyboarding, and planning shoots when required.
• Ensure brand consistency, quality standards, and timely delivery of all video content.
• Passion for social development and community impact.
• Ability to travel to rural project locations when needed.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, multi-stakeholder environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Graduate / Postgraduate / Diploma holder can apply.
• 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in the development/non-profit sector.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Photography, motion graphics, or animation skills are a plus.
