Job Title: Video Editor & Camera Handling Executive Location: Powai, Mumbai Company: SpeEdLabs (www.speedlabs.in) Industry: EdTech – IIT/IIM Alumni Founded Job Summary: SpeEdLabs is seeking a talented and reliable individual to handle both video editing and recording camera operations for educational lectures. This role will involve managing the technical aspects of lecture recordings, including camera setup, live recording, sound quality monitoring, and post-production editing to create high-quality educational content. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate recording cameras during live lecture sessions. Ensure high-quality video and audio capture. Monitor lighting, framing, and sound during recordings. Organize and manage video files efficiently for editing. Edit lecture recordings into high-quality, engaging video content. Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, animations, and branding where required. Coordinate with the academic and content teams to finalize videos as per requirements. Maintain camera equipment and editing hardware/software. Requirements: Proven experience in video editing (minimum 1–2 years preferred). Strong knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Basic understanding of audio correction, color grading, and video formatting. Experience in handling DSLR/video cameras and other recording equipment. Understanding of shooting in indoor setups, especially classroom/lecture environments. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Creativity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Degree/diploma in Mass Communication, Media Production, Film Studies, or related fields. Prior experience working in educational content recording is a plus.
