Video Editor Associate

As a Video Editor and Producer in our organization, your role involves collaborating closely with team members to develop video and digital concepts and projects. You will be responsible for designing and creating storyboards and scripts, actively participating in creative strategy development, and media design ideas. Your tasks will include working with raw camera footage, virtual meeting recordings, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects as necessary. Additionally, you will design and deliver high-quality motion graphics suitable for video/web/social media dissemination. Editing and assembling recorded raw material into a finished product ready for broadcasting will also be under your purview. It is crucial to track new content trends and technologies to ensure that our output remains cutting-edge. You will manage a team to ensure that required deliverables are met within the stipulated time and quality parameters. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors/Masters degree in a related field (fine arts, multimedia production, journalism, or someone passionate about videography) with relevant technical training in video and digital design and production. - 2-5 years of prior work experience in a video editor or producer role. - Ability to handle multimedia projects from conception to completion and efficiently multitask. - Strong knowledge of post-production processes. - Working knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Experience in short-form storytelling through various editorial techniques including cuts, transitions, timing, and the effective use of sound and visuals to communicate. - Keep abreast of the latest video marketing trends like animation, white sketch-board, AR/VR, 360-degree videos, immersive video, etc. - Ability to manage production for still and video recording. - Strong written and oral communication skills in English. - Ability to work well in teams. - Self-motivation, proactiveness, and attention to detail.
