Video Editing Faculty

We are seeking an experienced and creative Video Editing Faculty (Part Time)member to train students in professional editing techniques, software tools, and industry workflows.

Responsibilities

• Teach students the fundamentals and advanced concepts of video editing.
• Provide hands-on training in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
• Guide students through timelines, trimming, transitions, effects, audio syncing, and colour correction/grading.
• Conduct practical sessions on editing different types of content—short films, ads, wedding videos, social media content, documentaries, and more.
• Explain file formats, codecs, project organisation, workflow management, and export settings.
• Assign projects, review student work, and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students in creating high-quality portfolio pieces.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, tools, and techniques.
• Maintain class discipline and ensure smooth delivery of training.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, FCP, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
• Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, continuity, transitions, and visual rhythm.
• Knowledge of colour correction/colour grading and audio enhancement.
• Ability to teach both beginners and advanced learners in a clear, structured manner.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Prior teaching/training experience preferred, or significant industry experience in editing.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
