Video Colorist

As a Video Editor & Color Artist at archVi, your role involves editing raw footage and enhancing visual appeal with advanced color correction techniques. You will collaborate with directors, producers, and cinematographers to ensure the final output aligns with the project's creative vision. Your responsibilities include: - **Video Editing:** - Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content. - Collaborate with creative teams to meet project requirements. - Add sound design, voiceovers, effects, and music for impact. - Trim, sequence, and combine video clips with smooth transitions. - Deliver videos within brand guidelines and deadlines. - **Colour Grading and Correction:** - Adjust balance, brightness, contrast, and color tones of raw footage. - Apply advanced color grading techniques for visual consistency. - Use tools like DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro for desired aesthetic. - Ensure color output consistency across all platforms. - **Collaboration and Feedback:** - Implement feedback from creative teams and clients for refinement. - Stay updated with industry trends and editing technologies. - Maintain organized workflows and manage project files effectively. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a Video Editor/Color Artist with a strong portfolio. - Expertise in color grading using tools like DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro. - Strong understanding of color theory and visual storytelling. - Proficiency in video editing software and knowledge of various video formats. - Attention to detail, creativity, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
