Freshers with relevant internship experiences or projects are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Create trailers, reels and promo videos for our video content.
  • Edit raw footage into clean, polished videos, ensuring a seamless flow and professional look.
  • Add basic motion graphics, text animations, and smooth transitions
  • Create branding content and explainer animations using AI tools/platforms
  • Work closely with content and design teams to bring ideas to life
  • Deliver quality videos within tight deadlines maintaining brand consistency
  • Stay updated with social media trends to make engaging short videos

Required Skill-Sets:

  • Video editing with clean cuts, smooth transitions and strong storytelling
  • Basic animation and motion graphics knowledge
  • Understanding of color, text, and layout
  • Willingness to learn, experiment and adapt
  • Fast and flexible with feedback and changes

System Requirements for Video Editing and Animation:

1. Processor (CPU):

The CPU is the "brain" of your system and is crucial for processing video footage, applying effects, and rendering.

  • Recommended: Intel Core i7 (12th Gen or newer) / Intel Core Ultra series or AMD Ryzen 7 (5000 series or newer). These offer excellent multi-core performance for demanding video tasks.
  • Professional/High-End: Intel Core i9 (13th Gen or newer) / Intel Core Ultra 9 series or AMD Ryzen 9 (7000 series or newer) / AMD Threadripper. These provide even more cores and threads, significantly speeding up rendering and complex effects in applications like After Effects.
  • For AI Tools: Newer CPUs with integrated AI accelerators (like Intel's Core Ultra series) can potentially leverage these for specific AI-driven tasks in your workflow.

2. Graphics Card (GPU):

The GPU accelerates rendering, playback, and effects, especially for motion graphics and 4K footage.

  • Recommended (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/3070/4060/4070 (or newer equivalents). These cards offer good VRAM and CUDA core counts for most editing and motion graphics tasks.
  • Recommended (AMD): AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT/6800 XT/7700 XT (or newer equivalents). AMD cards can also be strong performers.
  • Professional/High-End: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080/4090/5080/5090 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. These high-end cards provide substantial VRAM (16GB+) and processing power for 4K/8K editing, complex 3D animation, and heavy After Effects compositions.
  • VRAM (Video RAM):

Minimum: 4GB for HD and basic 4K.
Recommended: 8GB or more for 4K and higher resolutions, especially with motion graphics.
Ideal: 12GB+ for intensive 4K/8K workflows and complex After Effects projects.

3. Memory (RAM):

RAM is where your active project data is stored for quick access. More RAM means smoother multitasking and handling of larger, more complex projects.

  • Minimum: 16GB (for HD editing).
  • Recommended: 32GB (for 4K editing and basic motion graphics).
  • Ideal: 64GB or more (for complex 4K/8K projects, heavy After Effects compositions, and simultaneous use of multiple creative applications).

4. Storage:

Fast storage is critical for smooth playback, quick loading of assets, and efficient rendering.

  • Primary Drive (OS & Applications):

SSD (Solid State Drive): A fast NVMe M.2 SSD (e.g., 1TB or 2TB) is highly recommended for your operating system, video editing software (like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects), and project cache files. This significantly reduces load times and improves responsiveness.

  • Media Drive (Footage & Project Files):

SSD: A separate, large SSD (2TB+ NVMe or SATA SSD) for your raw footage and active project files. This ensures fast access during editing and rendering.
RAID Array (for larger studios/teams): For very large projects or collaborative workflows, a RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) system with multiple SSDs or fast HDDs (for bulk storage) can provide both speed and data redundancy.

  • Archival/Backup Drive:

HDD (Hard Disk Drive): Large-capacity HDDs (4TB+) are suitable for long-term storage, backups, and archived projects, as they offer a lower cost per GB.
External Drives/NAS: External SSDs/HDDs or a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device can provide additional storage and collaborative capabilities.

5. Operating System:

  • Windows: Windows 10 (64-bit) v22H2 or later, or Windows 11 (64-bit).
  • macOS: macOS 12 (Monterey) or later (Apple Silicon M1/M2/M3 or Intel 6th Gen or newer).

6. Display:

  • Recommended: 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) monitor or higher.
  • Ideal: A 4K monitor for accurate previewing of 4K content. Consider a color-accurate display for professional work.

7. Other Considerations:

  • Power Supply (PSU): A high-wattage, reliable PSU (750W+ depending on your components) is essential to power your CPU and GPU, especially under heavy load.
  • Cooling: Adequate cooling (CPU cooler, case fans) is vital to prevent thermal throttling and ensure stable performance during long rendering sessions. Liquid cooling is often preferred for high-end CPUs.
  • Connectivity:

USB 3.0/3.1/3.2: For connecting external drives and peripherals.
Thunderbolt (if applicable): Especially beneficial for Mac users or PCs with Thunderbolt ports, offering very high-speed data transfer to external storage.
Ethernet: Gigabit Ethernet for fast network transfers, especially important if working with network storage or team collaborations. 10 Gigabit Ethernet for 4K shared network workflows.

We expect you to be equipped with a powerful laptop or a proper system suitable for heavy edit and animation work.
