Job Description

Role Overview

Lead and mentor a team of 30 accounting professionals across multiple business units
Oversee all general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting functions
Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant statutory regulations
Manage accounting operations for overseas clients, ensuring seamless cross-border coordination
Develop and implement internal controls, audit readiness, and risk mitigation strategies
Collaborate with tax, treasury, and legal teams to support global transactions and reporting
Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
Drive continuous improvement in accounting systems, processes, and automation initiatives
Lead integration efforts for acquisitions and new business ventures from an accounting perspective
Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
Minimum 12 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 8 years in leadership roles
Proven experience managing large teams and international client portfolios
Strong understanding of UK accounting standards, IFRS, and global compliance frameworks
Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
