Role Overview: The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the companys compliance framework to ensure full adherence to RBI, NPCI, and BBPS regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will safeguard the organization against compliance risks while ensuring robust operational integrity and data protection across all fintech and payment operations. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance with RBI, NPCI, and BBPS regulations and guidelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory changes and implement necessary policy updates. Audit & Risk Management: Manage internal and external audits , ensuring timely resolution of compliance observations. Develop and maintain a risk-based compliance monitoring framework . KYC/AML Oversight: Ensure full compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) norms. Monitor transactions and flag/report suspicious activities in accordance with regulatory requirements. Policy & Governance: Formulate and implement compliance policies, SOPs, and control mechanisms across business operations. Ensure data privacy and protection policies are aligned with legal and regulatory standards. Stakeholder Management: Liaise effectively with regulatory authorities , banking partners , auditors , and legal advisors . Provide compliance training and awareness programs for employees and senior management. Qualifications & Experience: Education: LLB / LLM / MBA in Compliance, Finance, or Risk Management (or equivalent qualification). Experience: 8–12 years of relevant experience in Fintech, Banking, or Regulatory environments with strong exposure to payment systems, BBPS, NPCI, or RBI compliance . Skills: Strong understanding of financial regulatory frameworks and digital payment ecosystems. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Proven ability to design and implement effective compliance programs. Compensation: Salary Range: 10–15 Lakhs per Annum (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
