As the Vice President, Quality Engineer at BNY, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across engineering projects. The Quality function aligns with BNY's principles by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies using advanced quality engineering techniques to ensure product excellence. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, showcasing expertise in problem-solving and root cause analysis. - Oversee the execution of testing protocols, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. - Analyze quality data and metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts, aligning with organizational goals and client expectations. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance quality engineering practices and capabilities. - Hands-on automation/performance testing **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Advanced certifications in Quality Assurance or related areas are a plus. As an individual with skills such as Java, Selenium, JMeter scripting, BDD, Database testing, MQ, and Kafka preferred, you are well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of this role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and resolving quality issues. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities will enable you to work effectively with diverse teams. Your proficiency in quality engineering tools and methodologies will support continuous improvement initiatives.
