Vice President-Data Scientist

As a Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst at the company, you will be a strategic professional with recognized technical authority in a specific area of the business. Your role involves staying updated on developments in your field and contributing to the directional strategy by applying your expertise to the job and the business. Your responsibilities will have a significant impact on the area through complex deliverables and will require basic commercial awareness. Key Responsibilities: - Work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies - Identify and compile data sets using tools like SQL and Access to predict, improve, and measure the success of key business outcomes - Document data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, including utilizing statistical models/algorithms and data visualization techniques - Specialize in marketing, risk, digital, and AML fields - Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and safeguarding the company and its assets Qualifications: - 12+ years of experience - Working experience in a quantitative field, preferably in the Financial/Credit Card industry - Demonstrated ability in data retrieving and manipulation, as well as proficient analytical skills - Excellent analytic ability, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to a matrix work environment Education: - Bachelors/University degree required, Masters degree preferred Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed, and other job-related duties may be assigned as required.,
