Company Overview Viago Express Logistics is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee daily fleet operations across both long haul and in-city logistics. The ideal candidate will manage vehicle performance, prepare costings, optimize routing, and ensure compliance with all regulations. Our current fleet includes approximately 30 vehicles, serving a diverse set of B2B clients across India. Key Responsibilities - Manage daily operations of a fleet of 30+ vehicles across long haul and urban logistics. - Plan and allocate fleet resources efficiently to maximize vehicle utilization. - Prepare detailed costings including fuel, maintenance, driver costs, tolls, and depreciation. - Monitor vehicle tracking systems, fuel logs, and optimize route planning. - Ensure compliance with RTO, insurance, and safety regulations. - Liaise with service providers for preventive and corrective maintenance. - Recruit, train, and manage drivers, ensuring discipline and performance. - Collaborate with finance and sales to prepare logistics cost estimates and quotations. - Use telematics and fleet management tools to optimize operational KPIs. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead continuous improvement projects.
