Role & responsibilities 1.Manage the import and export process by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Prepare and review shipping and customs documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bill of lading, and customs declarations. Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays. Ensure compliance with import-export laws and regulations by staying updated on changes in customs requirements and assisting with customs clearance procedures. Assist in the preparation of import and export documentation for audits and compliance checks. Maintain accurate records of import and export transactions, including invoices, shipping documents, and customs declarations. 7.Responsible for Preparing shipping documents like Commercial Invoice, Packing List etc for export shipments. 8. Liaison with freight forwarders, CHA, Local office, VGM, SI Shipping Bill/ Bill of Entry filing ,Prepares MIS Reports Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in import-export operations, logistics, or a relevant role. Knowledge of customs regulations and experience with customs clearance procedures. Familiarity with international trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Proficiency in using import-export software and tools, such as customs brokerage systems and trade compliance software. Strong understanding of INCO terms, shipping terms, and international trade terms.

The Sea Export Customer Service Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating export shipments via sea, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth communication between clients, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams. This role focuses on handling documentation, tracking shipments, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with export regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Service & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding export shipments. Respond to customer inquiries, provide shipment updates, and address concerns promptly. Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth export operations. 2. Export Documentation & Compliance Prepare and verify all necessary export documentation, including Bill of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and Export Declarations. Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export regulations, and Incoterms. Work closely with customs brokers to ensure smooth customs clearance and avoid delays. 3. Shipment Coordination & Tracking Track export shipments and provide customers with real-time updates. Monitor vessel schedules and coordinate with carriers to avoid shipment delays. Handle any shipment discrepancies or delays by liaising with relevant stakeholders. 4. Process Improvement & Reporting Maintain accurate records of export shipments and customer interactions. Prepare reports on shipment status, delays, and customer feedback. Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
