A Unity Developer at Magictap will be responsible for working on interactive experiences, gamified applications, and immersive event technologies using AR, VR, and AI-driven solutions. You will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of development, design, optimization, collaboration, research, and innovation to create engaging and cutting-edge applications. Your key responsibilities will include development and coding tasks such as building interactive applications and simulations using Unity 3D, writing clean and scalable C# scripts for game mechanics, developing custom shaders and materials for realistic visuals, implementing physics-based interactions, animations, and UI elements. Additionally, you will work on game and experience design by creating gamified brand activations, designing 3D environments, UI, and gameplay mechanics, optimizing 3D models and assets for performance, and collaborating with designers for UI/UX enhancements. You will also be involved in AR/VR/Mixed Reality development, where you will integrate various technologies such as Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Hololens, ARKit, ARCore, create gesture-based and sensor-driven experiences, implement marker-based and markerless AR experiences. Testing and optimization will be a crucial part of your role, including debugging, optimizing performance, conducting QA tests, bug fixing, and ensuring cross-platform optimization. Collaboration and project execution are essential aspects of the role, where you will work with 3D designers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers, coordinate with event teams for deploying interactive tech experiences, and maintain project documentation using Git.
