VFX ARTIST

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and skilled VFX Artist to join our production team. The ideal candidate should be able to create high-quality visual effects that enhance storytelling, including particle effects, simulations, compositing, and environment effects. You will collaborate closely with animators, modelers, and compositors to deliver visually stunning outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual effects such as particles, fire, smoke, explosions, water, dust, magic effects, etc.
• Work with the animation and modeling teams to integrate effects seamlessly into scenes.
• Simulate realistic and stylized effects based on project requirements.
• Optimize VFX for rendering without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with the compositing team to finalize shots.
• Troubleshoot and refine effects based on supervisor or client feedback.
• Ensure timely delivery of effects assets.

Skills & Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience as a VFX Artist (or strong demo reel for freshers).
• Proficiency in After Effects, Nuke, Houdini, Blender, or Maya (depending on studio pipeline).
• Strong knowledge of particle systems, dynamics, and simulations.
• Basic understanding of lighting and shading principles.
• Ability to composite effects into final shots.
• Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Skills (Optional)

• Experience with Houdini FX simulations (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity VFX systems.
• Skills in scripting (Python/MEL).
• Understanding of color grading and match-moving.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
