ROLE SUMMARY: The engineer will be trained to take full responsibility for designing and securing approvals for permits, ensuring the creation of cost-effective, high-quality CAD drawings that comply with all Client and Municipality requirements. Upon completing the training, the engineer will be proficient in producing and obtaining approval for permit drawings that feature accurate access points, precise calculations, feasible path analyses, and optimized cost efficiency. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Including, but not limited to:) Visualize and develop CAD drawings that strictly adhere to the established specifications, guidelines, and standards set by clients and relevant jurisdictions. Revise and update drawings to incorporate design changes and address client and customer feedback efficiently. Utilize the latest GIS platforms and conduct thorough research on current guidelines and permit requirements from official jurisdiction portals and websites Organize, manage, and publish CAD files accurately, ensuring they are properly uploaded and accessible in designated locations. Coordinate project timelines and forecast delivery dates to ensure timely completion and on-schedule delivery of respective assignments. Proactively identify project-related queries and obstacles and effectively communicate them to the client or relevant stakeholders for prompt resolution. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in embracing new updates and changes to consistently deliver high-quality results. Establish backup plans to ensure continuity of work during emergencies or absences, minimizing disruptions to ongoing tasks. Evaluate project feasibility and cost-effectiveness, ensuring full compliance with applicable guidelines and standards. Take initiative within the team to drive improvements and optimize productivity and efficiency as an individual contributor. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in technology, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 1-year proven experience in AutoCAD ; experience in Telecom is highly desirable. Experience on Vetro will be an added advantage. Enthusiastic and eager to learn, with a proactive and positive attitude. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective interpersonal interactions. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Flexibility to extend shifts when necessary and adapt to changes in schedule or workflow priorities. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze situations and provide effective solutions. Ability to maintain professionalism and tact while working in a fast-paced environment with both internal teams and clients.
