Job Title: Veterinary Doctor

Location: Utkarsh Global Foundation, Mumbai.

Job Summary:

Utkarsh Global Foundation, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Doctor to join our animal care and welfare organisation. The ideal candidate having experience/Fresher in veterinary IPD and be committed to the health and welfare of animals, especially in community-based and shelter environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and complex treatment including sterilization (spay/neuter), wound management Gastro, Fever, orthopaedic and emergency handlings.

Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care for animals.

Ensure high standards of hygiene, asepsis, and medical protocols.

Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in animals, particularly street and shelter animals.

Collaborate with Para veterinary staff and dog-catching teams during ABC (Animal Birth Control) programs.

Maintain detailed medical records.

Provide training and guidance to junior staff and volunteers.

Participate in vaccination drives, rescue operations, and community outreach programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a recognized institution

Fresher/Experience may also apply.

Excellent skills and post-operative care knowledge.

Empathy towards animals and a passion for animal welfare.

Ability to work in high-pressure and field environments.

Salary: up to 50K (Accommodation will be provided)
