Vet Assistant & Animal Handling

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Vet Assistant & Animal Handling professional, located in Mumbai or Goa. The Vet Assistant will be responsible for providing animal care, assisting with veterinary procedures like IV or vaccinations, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the shelter. Responsibilities include feeding and grooming animals, administering medications, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. The professional will also be involved in client education by providing information and assistance to pet owners and volunteers. Additionally, they will handle customer service interactions to address inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications

• Animal Care and Pet Care skills
• Basic knowledge of Veterinary Medicine
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
• Previous experience in a similar role or relevant certification is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
