In this role, you will be responsible for processing bookings with customers/carriers for Import/Export/Cross Trade shipments. This will involve coordinating empty/laden container movements, making applications to carriers for special/DG cargoes, handling simple sales quotations, reconciling bookings, processing Bills of Lading for customers with respective carriers, and maintaining document filing. You will also be involved in vessel scheduling, preparing load lists, giving on board pre-alerts, following up on shipments, and giving approval to surveyors for the release of form 13/movement. Coordinating with feeders will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities, a customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality service, and the ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and customer service software will be advantageous for this position.
