As a Vessel Optimization Associate at ZeroNorth, you will be involved in delivering world-class technical expertise as an individual contributor to Vessel Optimization projects and tasks. In this 12-month fixed role, you will take a leading role in advising customers and colleagues on vessel hydrodynamics, fuel models, vessel performance, and optimization, contributing to building a successful team. Your key responsibilities will include assisting on performance monitoring and optimization tasks, creating and maintaining theoretical performance models/hydrodynamic models, providing monthly reporting and follow-up on performance results, monitoring and executing projects efficiently, building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the daily tasks forming the department's services. The ideal candidate for this role would have a degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture, with relevant experience in Vessel Optimization. Proficiency in data capture and modeling, creation of reports, and supporting customers is essential. Familiarity with tools such as Python, R, BI or Tableau, Matlab, Java, and experience with AI/ML would be advantageous in supporting the team in developing fuel models.
