Piping stress Engineer Exp: 6+ Years Software: CAESAR-II Location: Bangalore ROLES &RESPINSIBILITIES: Able to model the piping in the CAESAR-II software & provide various Loads with different Load combinations to civil/structural. (Awareness on Auto PIPE is a plus) Able to read and understand Client /Pipe Stress analysis specification and identify different stress systems through review of PIDs/ Line list. Expert in reviewing and providing value addition for complex engineering tasks along with key engineering disciplines properly and efficiently. (Structural / CFD / FEA / Vessel Analysis) Able to perform Piping analysis for sustained, thermal and multiple operating cases, occasional (wind, seismic, relief, water hammer etc.) Able to locate and identify pipe supports on isometrics along with type of supports. Expert in guiding a group of Pipe Stress Engineers in performing Static & Dynamic Pipe Stress analysis, to be proficient in material selection, understanding client specifications as well as providing technical support to activities involved in the CAESAR-II CAESAR-II procurement, fabrication, and commissioning stages. Expert Knowledge on ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code. Working Knowledge on API 617: Axial and Centrifugal Compressors and Expander- compressors for Petroleum, Chemical and Gas Industry Services, API 618: Reciprocating Compressors for Petroleum, Chemical services. Working Knowledge on API 610: Centrifugal Pumps for Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural gas industries.
