Job Description: At Ubisoft, as a Tools Programmer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with highly skilled industry professionals. Working under the guidance of Lead Programmer/Senior Programmer, you will be involved in various essential components of the game production pipeline. Your main responsibilities will include writing quality code for tools utilized in the production pipeline, managing requirements and implementing them into the tools, or developing new tools from scratch to enhance production efficiency. You will work closely with team members, both locally and internationally, to address requests for new features or updates during the production cycle. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute innovative ideas and demonstrate the ability to perform effectively under pressure. To excel in this role, you must possess strong skills in C# and/or C++, along with a solid understanding of data structures and design patterns. Logical thinking, analytical problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting are crucial for success. Familiarity with versioning/source-code-control systems and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required. Ideally, you should hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., B.E Comp, BCA, MCA, B.S, or M.S) and be adaptable in organizing work based on project requirements. Being well-organized, self-sufficient, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team are essential qualities. You should be open to feedback, thrive in a fast-paced, iterative work environment, and exhibit a high level of motivation and eagerness to learn. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on international game projects and AAA IPs, access cutting-edge hardware, work with internally developed game engines, and engage with a dynamic team of colleagues. Knowledge of at least one scripting language and experience in test-driven development would be advantageous for this position.,
