On a typical day at XPO India Shared Services, you will be responsible for various tasks including: Data Visualization: You will design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualizations and reports using Looker. Data Modeling: Your role will involve creating and optimizing data models to support business requirements. Data Integration: You will integrate Looker reports into other applications to enhance business capabilities. Performance Optimization: Monitoring and optimizing the performance of Looker reports and dashboards will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration: Working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data visualization and business intelligence needs. You will continuously improve technical design patterns, workflows, and tools. Defining and enforcing standards when necessary to sustain the platform's effectiveness and sustainability. You will also experiment with and promote the adoption of new tools and approaches when appropriate. Security: Implementing different security measures on data and ensuring compliance with data governance policies. Documentation: You will document processes and methodologies used in developing reporting solutions. To succeed at XPO, you should have: Qualification: A Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 3 plus years of experience in data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence using BI Tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc. Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing SQL queries, solid understanding of Data Warehouse, and data modeling concepts. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Google Big Query. Experience with programming languages like Python, R, etc. Understanding of version controlling tools such as GitHub, SVN, TFS, etc. Google Cloud Platform or Looker certification would be a big plus.
