Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) in partnership with Retail Business Services (RBS) are a paid B2B service that aims to help key Vendors partner with Amazon.Vendor Consultant (VC) will help shape and deliver on a strategy for managing key metric pillars for Amazon AVS vendors. Soft Skills: bright, customer centric, driven, and creative. Vendor Constant will interface internally with leaders from RBS, Retail and Vendor Services teams and will be responsible for certain aspects of the vendor's business with Amazon. Will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize business for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com. Will conceive, create and analyze a wide range of data, to grow the vendor's traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon. Also, will look into strategic and operational aspects of their business with Amazon, root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor's business. Vendor Consultant will be focused on the strategic and operational aspects of managing the customer relationships with our vendors.Key job responsibilities. Success will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience.. Partnering with Retail (AVS) Team to manage vendor relationship by championing the vendor's needs at Amazon.
- 5+ years of account or relationship management, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/supplier management experience
- 2+ years of interacting with customers/stake holders experience- 1+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data to influence business decisions- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.- Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written- Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks- Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
- Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions
