VELTO – Co-Founder / Founding Engineer (Backend & Scraping Expert) About VELTO VELTO (Viral Engagement Leveraging Talent Online) is a next-gen Clipping Campaign Management Toolchain. We allow Clippers and Agencies to run campaigns end-to-end, track content performance, automate reporting, and drive high-ticket influencer marketing activations, all in one platform. The Role This is a full-time, remote-first co-founder position for someone ready to own VELTO’s backend and scraping engine, drive product and tech decisions, and scale a government-certified, grant-backed startup targeting high-ticket clients. Equity-Based Compensation Until Funding You’ll start with a significant equity stake (30–50%). Salary will begin once our planned Startup India grant (up to ₹40 lakh) is received or when revenue is proven from live clients (starting package $200–$250) Ready Market Customers lined up, focus on high-value B2B agencies this is not a “build then hope” role. Expect active client involvement and fast iteration. Key Responsibilities Own and architect backend systems from scratch (Node, Python, Go, or your stack of choice). Build, maintain, and optimize high-scale, reliable social media scrapers (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter). Design and deploy robust scheduling (CRON jobs) for high-frequency, multi-account crawling and processing. Set up data storage pipelines for efficient tracking, analytics, and reporting. Collaborate on everything: tech stack, product flow, troubleshooting, delivery, and big-picture strategy. Be a problem-solver and executor who can work independently but deliver collaboratively. What You MUST Bring Track record designing, building, and operating large-scale, production-grade backends. Deep experience in automated social media scraping, knowledge of proxy rotation, anti-ban techniques, and adapting to platform changes fast (zero tolerance for outages or inaccuracy). Expert in CRON and job scheduling at scale (not just basics). Extreme Ownership You’re signing up for co-founder-level intensity. This is not a “side project” or easy ride; you will be hands-on daily, with a direct stake in business growth. Remote reliability: Available for daily tactical briefings, open to working nights, weekends, and emergencies when they matter. Startup mindset : Willing to grind up equity front, then transition to paid once funding lands and revenue is steady.
