Role & responsibilities SM Responsibilities (high level): • True leader who serves • Protects the team from external distractions that do not align with prioritized or planned work • Coaches the teams adoption of Agile practices and improvements • Helps team with self-organization and autonomy • Collects metrics to help teams improve; creates appropriate reporting / dashboards for alignment (burndown charts, velocity, etc.) • Expedites removal of impediments • Facilitates scrum ceremonies and other key meetings to foster appropriate level of collaboration • Partners with Engineering Managers, Product Managers/Owners to protect the team from outside distractions and priorities • Participates in Scrum of Scrum meetings for cross-team coordination • Fosters communication, creates channel for the team as well as help translate “lingo” • Coordinates and establishes relationships with other Scrum Masters, third parties, shared resources, and other members of the organization • Tools Administrator for Jira project • Additional responsibility: Manages, coordinates release activities (including change management) for the product team. Objectives: • Build and deploy mobile apps to replace critical RF Scanner functions. • Optimize Cycle Count app to reduce unnecessary counting in stores. • Automate Truck Detail Scan. • Eliminate manual processes (inventory adjustments, emails, printed reports). • Cycle Count outlier inventory adjustments.
