Job Title: Business Development Associate (BDA) Location: Madurai Job Type: Full-Time Industry: EdTech Experience: Minimum 1 - 3 years in Sales (preferably in EdTech) Job Summary We are seeking high-performing Business Development Associates to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in EdTech sales, a passion for education, and the ability to drive revenue growth by converting leads into long-term customers. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Customer Outreach Identify, connect, and engage with potential customers primarily parents and students. Handle inbound and outbound leads effectively. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through CRM tools. Product Demonstrations Conduct engaging and tailored product demos, explaining the value proposition of our STEM education solutions. Use persuasive communication to address customer pain points and demonstrate how our offerings solve them. Academic Counseling & Consultation Understand the academic needs of students and counsel them on the best-fit programs. Explain learning methodologies and the importance of STEM-based experiential education. Align student aspirations with our offerings through a consultative sales approach. Sales & Revenue Generation Drive closures and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Convert high-quality leads into successful enrollments. Provide timely follow-ups and negotiate effectively to ensure maximum conversions. Client Relationship Management Maintain strong and trusting relationships with enrolled families. Collect feedback, resolve concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Act as a brand ambassador, representing Vellora Smart Kid with integrity and enthusiasm. Requirements Education: Bachelors Degree in any discipline (preferred: Business, Marketing, Education, or STEM). Experience: Minimum 1 - 3 years of sales experience, preferably in EdTech, academic institutions, or B2C education sales. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills (English and regional language). Ability to understand and communicate academic products. Consultative and solution-selling mindset. Knowledge of CRM tools (like google sheet, Salesforce, or HubSpot) is a plus. Self-motivated, result-oriented, and performance-driven.
