Job Summary: The Product Life Cycle Management Specialist will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of Green Cell products from inception to retirement. The role includes coordination between R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure the product meets the market needs, remains competitive, and aligns with the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for the introduction of new products and the phase-out of old products, considering market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure product development projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Product Development Oversight: Oversee the product development process, ensuring that products are designed with manufacturability, serviceability, and sustainability in mind. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product strategy and development. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout their life cycle. Cost Management: Monitor and manage product-related costs, including development, manufacturing, marketing, and support costs, to ensure product profitability. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and after-sales support data to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation. End-of-Life Management: Develop and implement strategies for product discontinuation, including inventory management, communication plans for stakeholders, and recycling or disposal of materials in an environmentally responsible manner. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience in product management, engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of product development processes and strategies. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the industry. Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and tools. Desired Skills: Added Advantage of Soft Skills (Teamcenter/ PTC Windchill/ Tata Enovia/Fusion Life Cycle/SAP PLM/ Oracle PLM) Professional certification in product management or project management. Experience in sustainable and eco-friendly product development practices. Advanced skills in market analysis and forecasting. Work Environment: The role typically operates in an office setting but may require visits to manufacturing sites or research and development facilities. May involve travel to meet with customers, suppliers, or to attend industry conferences.
