Job Summary: The Product Life Cycle Management Specialist will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of Green Cell products from inception to retirement. The role includes coordination between R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure the product meets the market needs, remains competitive, and aligns with the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for the introduction of new products and the phase-out of old products, considering market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure product development projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Product Development Oversight: Oversee the product development process, ensuring that products are designed with manufacturability, serviceability, and sustainability in mind. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product strategy and development. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout their life cycle. Cost Management: Monitor and manage product-related costs, including development, manufacturing, marketing, and support costs, to ensure product profitability. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and after-sales support data to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation. End-of-Life Management: Develop and implement strategies for product discontinuation, including inventory management, communication plans for stakeholders, and recycling or disposal of materials in an environmentally responsible manner. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience in product management, engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of product development processes and strategies. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Generation of validation plan based on DVP. Validation completion as per testing time line. Issue resolutions along with COC S and Program Managers. Participation in user trials. Optimisation of vehicle performance to meet vehicle performance targets. Compliance and verification of vehicle performance as per TML / IS / ECE standards Preferred Skills & Knowledge Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and scenarios Configure and maintain HIL setups and test benches to emulate real-world conditions for accurate testing of automotive components Design, develop, and execute integration tests to verify the interactions and compatibility of various subsystems within complex automotive systems Analyse and troubleshooting test results, identifying and resolving issues in collaboration with hardware and software engineers Develop and maintain automated test scripts and procedures, enhancing efficiency and repeatability in the testing process Provide clear and concise documentation of test procedures, results, and findings for internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with project managers, engineers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results within project timelines Participate actively in design reviews, validation processes, and testing activities to ensure the successful implementation of customer requirements
