Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Vehicle Styling (Exterior & Interior) Location: Olectra Greentech Ltd. Department: Design & Development / R&D Role Purpose: To lead and execute exterior and interior styling for electric buses, ensuring innovative design, aesthetic appeal, and compliance with functional and manufacturing requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop exterior styling concepts (front fascia, body panels, lighting, and overall form). Design interior layouts (dashboard, Front & Rear inner domes, passenger comfort elements). Create 3D digital models, renderings, and mock-ups to visualize styling ideas. Work with engineering, vehicle integration, and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility. Support prototype build with styling inputs, color, material, and finish (CMF) selection. Stay updated with global EV bus design trends and incorporate innovative features. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Design / Industrial Design / Automobile Design. 0–4 years of experience in automotive styling (preferably commercial vehicles or EVs). Proficiency in design tools like Alias, Blender, Photoshop, and rendering software (KeyShot, VRED). Key Skills: Strong creativity and aesthetic sense for exterior & interior vehicle styling. Understanding of vehicle packaging, ergonomics, and manufacturing constraints. Ability to create concept sketches, clay models, digital renderings, and DMU checks.
