Role Overview: As a Technical Support - Development Ridder at Hero Motocorp, your purpose-driven role involves supporting vehicle preparation for testing, including assembly and dismantling, assisting in the completion of tests with accurate data collection, processing raw data for analysis and reporting, handling and maintaining test instruments and equipment, providing support for organizational initiatives like 5S, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct performance testing of ICE & EVs for performance, drivability, and benchmarking - Ensure all tests are performed according to standards and comply with legal and regulatory requirements - Identify vehicle-related problems affecting performance and durability during durability tests - Have basic knowledge of DAQ (Data Acquisition) systems and sensors Qualifications Required: - Diploma/ BE/ B.Tech / M.tech in Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronics Engineering from a renowned Institute - Technical skills in Performance Testing & Data Acquisition using Data loggers (like V-Box, 2D & others), subjective evaluation of vehicle for Driveability, Performance Benchmarking of competitors - Behavioral skills in safety risk, technical awareness, technical complexity, continuous learning - Other desired competencies include experience in the automobile industry, subjective vehicle evaluation skills, willingness to work in the field and on the vehicle independently, and hands-on experience in two-wheeler testing Additional Details: Working for Hero Motocorp, the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the last 22 years, means being part of a legacy celebrated by 110 million Indians.
