Job Description

As a Mechanic at VRL Logistics in Chennai, your role will involve performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment such as Leyland & Tata trucks. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues to ensure all vehicles and equipment are in optimal working condition to support the company's logistics and transportation services. Key Responsibilities: - Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks on heavy equipment - Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operations - Repair and troubleshoot issues with Leyland & Tata trucks Qualifications: - Experience in vehicle maintenance, specifically with Leyland & Tata trucks under BS4 & BS6 standards - Willingness to learn and assist on the job Founded in 1976 by Mr. Vijay Sankeshwar in Gadag, North Karnataka, VRL Logistics has grown into India's largest fleet owner with 2691 vehicles.
