Key Responsibilities: Operate a bus along assigned routes or schedules. Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations. Ensure the safety of all passengers, assisting those with special needs when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus. Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and other drivers. Report any accidents, mechanical issues, or delays immediately. Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts (if required). Qualifications: Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with passenger (P) endorsement. Clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and handle emergencies. Key Skills: Excellent driving skills and reflexes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependability and punctuality. Good judgment and decision-making. Basic mechanical knowledge (preferred). Patience and professionalism, especially with children, elderly, or tourists (depending on role). Working Conditions: May involve early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours sitting while driving. Exposure to traffic and varying weather conditions.
