Veeam Backup SME (VMCE Certified)

As a Backup and Disaster Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for leading backup and disaster recovery planning using Veeam. Your duties will include deploying and managing Veeam Backup & Replication solutions across virtual environments, monitoring and optimizing backup jobs, as well as troubleshooting failures. You will collaborate with storage, VM, and infrastructure teams to align recovery objectives. Additionally, you will be expected to develop documentation and provide knowledge transfer to operations. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in VMware. Proven expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication is essential, along with experience in implementing backup strategies for VMware vSphere environments. Familiarity with cloud backup and hybrid models, such as Veeam with AWS/Azure, will be beneficial. Veeam certifications, particularly VMCE, are preferred.
