The ideal candidate for the Video Editor position should possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in post-production. As a creative and technically skilled individual, you will be responsible for editing compelling video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, designing engaging motion graphics in After Effects, and creating impactful visuals and assets in Photoshop & Illustrator. Your role will involve utilizing AI video tools to enhance workflow efficiency, performing color grading, light balancing, and style matching, as well as cleaning and enhancing audio/voice using appropriate tools. Additionally, you will execute rotoscoping and object/scene tracking in After Effects, apply trending editing styles, integrate typography, transitions, and animations effectively, and work with plugins for added depth. To excel in this position, you must have expertise in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, along with a strong knowledge of rotoscoping and motion tracking. Experience with AI-based video tools and an understanding of color theory, sound design, and pacing are essential. A portfolio or showreel demonstrating motion-heavy and story-driven edits is required. The ability to collaborate with teams, deliver under tight schedules, and maintain quality and consistency across multiple projects are key aspects of this role. Familiarity with 3D tools/workflows, experience with branded content, ads, or cinematic visuals, and knowledge of templates and automation would be advantageous.
